I helped remodel Bullock Hall around 1979 1980. We jacked up the outside walls to replace the 8×8 seal that the house was setting on.The studs went from the to the roof! Plus they were not nailed to the beam they were notch into the beam and wooden spikes that went through the beam and through the studs. We replace some of the bricks basement fireplace and put shake seals under the house. They gather up all the wooden spikes snd bricks to sale to visitors
